An original production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Wolverine recoiling in fear as the Morlock Annalee has convinced him that he's covered in scorpions, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season one episode "Captive Hearts," which aired on January 30, 1993. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9.5"x10.75", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear including scratches, light black line fade, and paper backing transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint from storage and studio use. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
